I loved how my Texas Pumpkin Sheet Cake turned out!! Don’t you? Its whats for dessert tonight!!!
This is the recipe I used :
• 2 cups of flour
• 2 teaspoons of baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 1 teaspoon of baking soda
• 4 eggs
• 1 and 2/3 cups of sugar
• 1 cup of oil
• 1 can ( 15 oz ) pumpkin puree
I used Young Living’s Essential Oils : Nutmeg, Cinnamon Bark, and Orange
In a bowl add the flour, baking powder, salt, and soda and set that aside.
In a large bowl , combine eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin. Beat until fluffy.
Add 4 drops each of nutmeg and cinnamon bark essential oil. Mix it one more time.
Spread batter into a greased and floured baking sheet, 15 x 10 x 1.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. I would check it at 25 minutes.
• 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
• 1/3 cup of butter
• 4 cups of powdered sugar
• 4 drops of orange essential oil
• 1 tablespoon of milk
Mix together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powered sugar, 4 drops of orange essential oil, and a tablespoon of milk. Mix until fluffy.
This a very moist cake and a great dessert to add to your holidays or a Sunday family gathering.
Always use 100% pure essential oils if you plan on eating them.
